Olympus E-620 DSLR Camera.

Olympus Evolt E-620 DSLR camera ( 12 megapixel.)

I have got a cheap offer for Olympus E-620 from Courts Bukit Timah, and I bought it as “ Moving Out Sale.” I think it must be a display set, that’s why they offer me cheap. I like this camera and besides its more compact size, the Olympus E620 also weighs about 180 grams without battery. The E-620 does have an improved 12 Megapixel image sensor, TruePix III, 7 points AF compared to 3 points on the E-520/E-450, and various other functions of the E-30. The E-30, however, tends to lean more towards the E-3, which clarifies the Olympus E-620's position. The Evolt E-620 actually builds the bridge between the entry level models E520 and E-450 and the semiprofessional E-30 DSLR. If you take the time to compare the full specifications, you will soon find more differences. Important ones are an improved LCD display compared to that of the E-30, less fps, slower shutter speed and flash sync, and less AF focus points. The new 6 nos. Art filter has great impression result added to Image. It comes with a Kit lens 14-42mm , will try to play with my this new toys. At the moment, I have 3 Olympus Camera, SP 550UZ, E-500 and E-620.

Orchid Plants Photography.

Lately, we visited to the well known Orchid Garden located at Mandai. It is one of the Singapore Tourist Promotion Board visiting area.

Mandai Orchid Garden was opened in the year 1951 which I was only 2 years old. The founder was by the late John Laycock, the Orchid Society of Southeast Asia.

In the year of 1961, Mandai Orchid Garden has been recognised by the Singapore Tourism Board as a tourist attraction. In the lushly forested area of Mandai Lake Road is the huge land named after Mandai Orchid Garden. The Garden offers visitors a fine display of the myriads of orchids in open sunshine, and is a place of horticultural interest in Singapore.

We visited there on the 31-10-2010 and was amazing to see many exotic Orchids.

Hong Kong Disney Land. 4D/3 nights.

On the 27-June to 30-June, we took a short trip to Hong Kong
Disneyland. Hope to share some places of interest and pictures of HK
Disneyland. We booked our air ticket through Chan Bros travel agent,
staying at Metropark Hotel Mongkok for 2 days follow by Hollywood.
Our preference for this trip was free and easy tour, but was given a
complimentary of half day sight seeing in city area on the second
day. Usually the tour guide will bring us to those Jewelry industry,
Chinese Herbs manufacturer etc. which always ask you to buy n buy.
What ever you purchased, the tour guide will get commission. So we
opt out the offer and plan our own trip.

First 2 days the weather was bad and we didn't manage to fulfill our
schedule. Day one was raining, rest in the hotel and later evening
went to nearby Ladies market street for night shopping. Bought some
souvenirs and branded bags, prices not not really cheap but design
wise more choices.

Day 2 morning, we took MTR to the Central and shopped around
major shopping center. Later afternoon, we took a taxi to The Peak
and had our lunch at Peak Gallery. Stay until night time to watch the
night scene of Victoria Harbour.

Day 3 was fine weather, was transfer to Disneyland Hollywood Hotel,
but check in time was 1500hrs. First thing morning left our luggage
at hotel storage room and continue our journey to the Disneyland.
On the forth day we preparing to return home.
